THANKS TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS FOR THE YEAR 2009
WARRIOR BEACH RETREAT, INC.
“Where Heroes Gather”
Warrior Beach
Retreat, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that hosts
retreats for combat wounded soldiers and their families from
the Iraq and Afghanistan war. It is held for married couples
or soldiers and their caregivers. The next retreat is April
21-25. Approximately 60 total soldiers and their spouses
will be attending. It is a time for them to spend together
as couples and get to know others who are overcoming their
injuries from war. All lodging, meals and activities are
provided from generous businesses expressing their
appreciation for the great sacrifices made by these
families. The men have a day of deep sea fishing planned,
while the women have a time of being “pampered” with
manicures, pedicures and massages. The Commander from “Black
Hawk Down” Colonel Danny McKnight will be the guest speaker
at the opening ceremony. The soldiers will wear their class
A uniforms and willhave a Patriot Guard and Police escort to
the opening ceremony. Soldiers and their spouses will enjoy
a delicious steak dinner. The public is invited to attend
the ceremony to show their gratitude to our soldiers.
